I went to Australia with my grandmother about five years ago, and I really enjoyed it. She was there for a funeral, so she was busy with her friends there the majority of the time there. While that was a sad occasion, I did not know the deceased, so I just kept myself entertained. I explored so much there, and I knew that I wanted to go back one day. When I was offered a job there, I knew that I was going to migrate to Australia sooner rather than later.
I did not know the process at all, but I was not worried about that. I just went online to see what information was needed to get this process started. That is how I found a website that had every bit of information that I needed to begin this process. I had to first show my interest in moving there before the actual process could even start. That did not take very long though, because my interest was extremely high. I wanted to live there not only for the job that I wanted but also because I really like the area a good bit.
After that, I had to fill out the official paperwork and get together things like my medical records. I had to submit to a police background check, which was no problem since I have never been in trouble with the law. I know that it sounds like I had to do a lot of work to make this happen, but it was actually a lot easier than I even thought it would be. I was able to accept the job position, and I have been living here in Australia for nearly three years now. I do miss Singapore, and I make it back a couple of times a year, but this is now my home.
